Yosi-P strongly hopes that Final Fantasy 14 will be crossover content with Final Fantasy 7, but is waiting for the remake to be completed first.

"Final Fantasy 14" is full of homages and callbacks to other series. From the Crystal Tower raid series inspired by "Final Fantasy 3" to crossover events with works like "Final Fantasy 13" and "Final Fantasy 15," this MMO is a great tribute to Square Enix's library of RPG classics. It serves as a wonderful tribute to Square Enix's library of RPG masterpieces.

Work has already begun on weaving many of these references into the upcoming expansion "Dawntrail" as well. The Alliance raid series "Echoes of Vana'diel" is known to focus on the MMO's predecessor, Final Fantasy 11. It will also feature the Pelupelu, an alliance tribe pulled straight out of Final Fantasy 10. [Final Fantasy 14] has not yet reached saturation point. I was recently able to speak with director and producer Naoki Yoshida, and decided to ask him if he plans to include more homages to the series in the future.

"We have many plans and ideas, but we intend to continue to incorporate the essence of various works as a 'theme park for the FF series,'" said Yoshida. As for the specific works he is eager to utilize more, his answer is not so surprising.

"To put it simply, my personal wish is to work on "Final Fantasy 7" in earnest, but since the "FF7 Remake" series is in development, I don't want to interfere with that. I would be very happy if we could do something together after the remake series is completed, and I would like to ask players to support the "FF7 Remake" series so that we can make it happen as soon as possible

Yoshida is now working on one of Square Enix's most famous games, " It makes sense that he would want to take a little more from "Final Fantasy": there are still many elements of "Final Fantasy 7" in "FF14": the Gold Saucer in Manderville is strongly inspired by the Gold Saucer visited by Cloud and his friends. and also shares mini-games such as the Chocobo Race. There are also references to the characters of Biggs, Wedge, and Jesse, and the Ultima Weapon in A Realm Reborn closely resembles the Ultima Weapon in 7.

Other than a long list of small references, there is not much core content in Final Fantasy 7. However, with a four-year gap between the first two parts of the trilogy, it may be a long time before anything of this sort appears.

For more from Yoshida and more information about Dawntrail, here are the answers from an extensive interview that will appear in the next issue of PC Gamer magazine. It will be released on March 28 in the UK and April 16 in the US, and is available via Magazines Direct.
