The latest update to your favorite indie RPG adds a clockwork police state ruled by a mad god

Dread Delusion is one of my most anticipated games, a lo-fi, indie take on a bizarre Morrowind-style fantasy world where a medieval society clings to a field of asteroids that slowly orbit a small red star. dread The world gets a little weirder thanks to the addition of Delusion's first major post-launch region, the Kingdom of Clockwork.

The bones of the place have been here since Dread Delusion's early access launch. Developer Lovely Hellplace noticed the antics of boundary breakers like myself who magically jumped onto the island and moved the kingdom's home island in the final release, forcing players to go "the right way."

The Kingdom of Clockwork is a police state, and the only way to enter is to be smuggled across the inter-asteroid gap with the help of the principality's only authorized merchant, a carnivorous zombie from the other surreal locale in Dread Delusion, the other side of the Onearic Islands. compared to the country, help to really sell how isolated and alien this place is.

Dread Delusion continues to be an RPG far above its class. The open world is small but incredibly dense, while its lore and history give it a believable sense of a world that exists outside of the small area that can be explored in the game. I've only seen a little of the Kingdom of Clockwork, but I love immersing myself in this place. [The main quest requires finding three important characters, and the Clockwork Kingdom update adds a third important odd man out; Lovely Hellplace heralds a journey beneath the surface of Dread Delusion's ruined world, the asteroid kingdom, and eventually the game looking forward to going there when it is released from early access.

Until then, you can wishlist Dread Delusion or check it out on Steam's Early Access.
