Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader players have only one week to get their free DLC cosmetics before they run out.

Owlcat Games has revealed two cosmetic items that will be offered free to all Rogue Trader players until February 1: the Exclusive Rogue Trader Mask and the Magnificent Rogue Trader Cloak, Presumably, after this short window, they will be locked in the Disney Vault (or perhaps the Games Workshop Vault). [Just as premium cosmetics always look like premium cosmetics, these adjacent digital deluxe editions always look like digital deluxe editions. I really like the skull mask laurel wreath and techno monocle.

The magnificent cape: ...... Although, I have a feeling that the average rogue trader would stumble upon seven fur-covered cloaks with torso wraps on his way to brush his teeth in the morning. Still, free is free, but it's odd that something like this in a single-player RPG is only available for a limited time.

I don't think these knick-knacks will have the FOMO power to encourage new players to pick up Owlcat's Warhammer 40K CRPG right away, but if you already subscribe to this dark vision of the future, there's no reason not to accept the free items.

While our reviewer was churlish about Rogue Trader's many bugs and boring combat (seriously, what the hell is "+((50 + 10 x ballistic skill bonus) / number of enemies in area of effect)% damage + (10 + 2 x ballistic skill bonus)% dodge reduction to next area of effect attack" Jody found an excellent version of the Warhammer 40K universe in Rogue Trader, and also noted that the game could see some transformative improvements in later updates.
