Disney Announces "Star Wars Outlaws" to be Released "Later This Year," Then Quickly Withdraws

Earlier today, Ubisoft's open-world heist game Star Wars Outlaws appeared to be set for release at the end of 2024. According to a post on the Disney Parks blog, while not a specific date, it is definitely more accurate than what we previously knew, that it would be released in 2024. According to the post [24 Oooh-Worthy Things at Disney Experiences in 2024], "For Star Wars fans, an open-world Star Wars game, Star Wars Outlaws, will be released later this year. The game will allow users to explore a variety of planets across the galaxy, from the iconic to the new." The game allows you to explore a variety of planets in the galaxy, from the iconic to the new. You can risk it all as Kay Vess, an up-and-coming rogue seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with your fellow Knicks. If you are willing to take risks, the galaxy is full of opportunities."

I wrote "said" instead of "said" because shortly after the blog post was published and people started noticing the "later this year" part, it was quickly edited to remove that time frame and now only says that "Star Wars Outlaws" will be released "in 2024".

Fortunately, thanks to Wario64, the disappearance has not been forgotten: [Either it was unintentional, as when Warner Discovery CEO David Zaslav leaked the "Mortal Kombat 12" information, or my brain said "Minesweeper" and or was it a simple typo, like when my fingers said "minecraft" and my fingers said "minecraft"? Well, it happens all the time. (I think "later" is definitely more likely than "sooner," given that the holiday season is crowded but still a traditional earning season, and the exact release date has yet to be determined as the year progresses. It is also possible that "Star Wars Outlaws" will be released after 2025, like "Skull & Bones". So far, there is no specific "2024" figure: in a statement sent to PC Gamer, a Ubisoft representative said that the blog post was incorrect and that the release date has not changed.
