System requirements for Prince of Persia: Lost Crown are surprisingly low.

"Do I have to replace my GPU anymore? ......" If you're used to looking at system requirements with trepidation, you'll be pleased to know that "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown" doesn't require a high-end rig. That cartoonish art style won't eat up any resources, but it's still nice to know that the system requirements are not so unaffordable even for an ultra. It would probably work on a laptop.

Each step of the system requirements for "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown" targets at least 60 fps, but Ubisoft says it's possible to exceed 120 fps if you have the hardware to spare. to achieve Ultra on a 4K monitor, GTX 1060 and 6GB of VRAM is all you need. Furthermore, it requires only 30GB of hard drive space and does not require an SSD, which is becoming increasingly rare these days.

"We know it's not the 'Prince of Persia' fans expect," wrote Mollie Taylor, who completed a hands-on with The Lost Crown last year. Especially since the remake of "Sands of Time," which is currently drifting on the desert winds, is getting a lot of hot attention. The team behind the wonderful "Rayman Legends" has been working on "The Lost Crown" for the past four years, and the result is a gorgeous 2.5D side-scroller that returns to the roots of "Prince of Persia" while also imagining a new future for the series.

To me, Prince of Persia remains a 2D game about rotoscoped men getting impaled on spikes and gored by metal teeth, available January 18 through Epic and the Ubisoft Store.
