'Starfield' Player Turns Shotgun into Carpet-Bombing Nightmare.

Starfield has a lot of mods for weapons, not the kind that require script extenders. I'm talking about the vanilla crafting system: drop a few points into the science skill tree and you can craft all sorts of mods that greatly expand the variety of game builds.

One such combo is the Hornet Nest mod, which attaches to the Coachman shotgun. This increases the gun's explosive power and disperses the rounds directly down from the point of impact. there is a great example video by iSwearSheWas56 on the Starfield reddit.

I am shocked at this range. It's one thing to atomize spacers at close range, it's another to shoot through walls and spray molten metal on the poor souls on the other side. Besides, mechs were considered too much of a burden for space warfare. Grenades would be completely obsolete.

To do this yourself, you'd have to throw two points into weapons engineering and hunt around for three lead, three glue, and three lead tetrafluoride. Tetrafluoride is a bit rarer, but if you're in Schrodinger III for this busted XP farm, you can get it quickly by going to Schrodinger VIII-b. The system that keeps on giving

I'm not a fan of the crafting system in most games, but I was totally tempted by this one. Look at this. I just wish I didn't have to open up the wiki to cobble something like this together. Besides, "Weapons Engineering" is in the second row of skills, so I'd have to spend the prerequisite points on something other than melting enemies from above.
