Get ready to adapt your Radiation King brand TV to Amazon Prime Video: the "Fallout" TV series will begin streaming on April 12, 2024. [Amazon tweeted an animation of Vault Boy entering the streaming date and giving his iconic thumbs up. I for one am very interested to see what Amazon will produce. Set in Los Angeles (although it was also filmed in Utah, New Jersey, and New York), some set photos were leaked earlier this year, but we don't know much about the story or the characters yet.
Some of the cast members will be familiar to TV fans; Fallout includes Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (Justified), Michael Emerson (Lost), Zach Cherry (Severance), and Kyle MacLachlan of "Twin Peaks".
Interestingly, and I just noticed this, actor Moses Arias is the only person credited as appearing in all eight episodes of Fallout. Parnell, Goggins, and McLachlan have each appeared in only four episodes. Granted, this may simply be an IMDB error (this site is often wrong about everything). It would be odd if Goggins were the main character but only appeared in half of the episodes.
I'm not sure if this piece is, well... I'm also wondering if it's a good piece. Amazon spent a billion dollars (no exaggeration) on "Ring of Power" and I couldn't even watch the entire season. I hope they spend more money this time to create a more engaging story.
