Come back and enjoy our wordle hints. Check out today's Wordle hints or hurry to the October 30 (863) answer.

Today's Wordle was a lot of fun. It wasn't a particularly quick or clever game, but I enjoyed that lovely moment when everything magically fell into place and suddenly there were no more possible choices other than the one you knew would be the correct answer. I hope I can say the same tomorrow.

In the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and his father were to find this holy item. Two of today's five letters are vowels, both different.

There are no double letters in today's puzzle.

If you've decided to play Wordle but don't know where to start, we're here to help you get on the road to your first winning streak. Make every guess count and become a Wordle winner with these simple tips:

There is no need to rush, as it is not a race against time. In fact, it's not a bad idea to treat this game like a casual newspaper crossword and come back to it later when you're blank. Sometimes, after a while away, you can come back to it with a fresh mind.

I solved one Wordle; the answer to the October 30 (863) Wordle is GRAIL.

Past Wordle solutions help eliminate guesswork for today's Wordle. It also gives you ideas for starting words to keep your daily puzzle solutions fresh.

Here are the answers to the recent Wordle:

Each day you will be presented with 5 boxes in 6 columns, find the 5-letter words hidden in them and win the daily puzzle.

Start with strong words like ALIVE or words that have a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels. Words that begin with repeated letters should also be avoided to avoid wasting chances to identify or delete extra letters. Type in your guess and press Enter to see which letters are correct or incorrect. If the box goes to ⬛️, it means that the character is not in the secret word at all. A ? means the character is in the word but not in its position. ? means that the correct letter is in the correct position.

The second guess should complement the first guess, using another "good" word to cover a common letter that may have been missed in the first line. After that, it is just a matter of using what you have learned to narrow down the correct word. In all, you can try six times, and only actual words can be used. Remember that letters can also be repeated (e.g. BOOKS).

Wordle was originally conceived by software engineer Josh Wardle as a surprise for his partner, who loved word games. From there it spread to his family and was finally released to the public. Since then, the word puzzle game has spawned a slew of Wordle-like games, focusing the daily gimmicks on music, math, and geography, and it wasn't long before Wordle became so popular that it was sold to the New York Times for a seven-figure sum. Indeed, it would only be a matter of time before we would be communicating solely through tricolored boxes.
