An interesting glitch in "Diablo 4" reduces the difficulties of the new season.

Diablo 4 is all about the "painstaking journey" of "seasons," as the game calls them: by completing various goals, you can evolve your character through multiple chapters that tell the story of the seasons. The first season, "Season of the Malignant," is currently underway, and a clever Redditor named Gumby785 has found a way to save a lot of time in the process.

Wowhead explains that in the third chapter of the season, which currently consists of seven chapters, players need to obtain 10 caches from the "whispering tree." This is because we don't want players to read through all this stuff in just a few seconds.

Well, that's not going to happen, but it turns out that this particular quest absolutely can. All you need to accomplish the objective is one cache in the "whispering tree": pick it up, put it down, pick it up again, put it down ...... and just repeat the process 10 times until the goal is achieved.

No doubt a bug, but according to Reddit, the trick was still working as of 22 minutes ago. Frankly, I think Blizzard could do gamers a favor by leaving this trick alone. And technically, you get 10 caches, right?

Courtesy of Redditor DigitalDreamArt, this is actually happening. Pick it up, put it down, and go to town!

The bug in this cache, and Blizzard's plans for it, may come up during Blizzard's "Campfire Chat," a developer update scheduled for later today, starting at 11am PT (2pm GMT), The Campfire Chat will be available on Twitch and YouTube.
