If you're a fan of stealth games, you'll probably want to turn to Steam, as Steam Stealth Fest will be offering discounts big and small on ninja games for the next week, with free Steam stickers every day.

As a fan of the stealth genre myself, I can say with confidence that there is a lot to like in this sale. For example, you can get three good copies of "Thief" for $1 each, or $3 if you want to play the reboot. The "Splinter Cell" games are also very inexpensive, both individually and in bundles, and well worth your time.

If you're in the mood for something a little newer, "Outlast" is $3, "Heat Signature" is $3, "Aragami" is $3, and to change the pattern, "Mark of the Ninja Remastered" is $8. And "Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole," one of my favorite video game titles, is also marked down to just $1.

However, I think "Stealth Fest" is playing a bit fast and loose with the whole idea of "stealth" in the context of video games. Far Cry 6? Wolfenstein? The New Order? Rainbow Six Siege?" stars a Scottish giant with a hammer. Arkham Games, where a man literally dressed like a bat beats down everything he sees? Sure, there are opportunities to be sneaky in "Metro" and "Deus Ex," but are they really stealth games?" Personally, I have to vote no.

Still, regardless of how you feel about the sanctity of stealth, there are some great games on sale here. And don't forget the free stickers. Here's the first day:
