Baldur's Gate 3 Twitch streamers are freaking out early after hitting the "hide clothes" option in the character creator and discovering how much they can actually hide.

Despite warnings at the start of the game that nudity is an option, BG3's Twitch top clips page is full of streamers surprised that nudity can be achieved so quickly. There is a toggle in the character creation menu that says "Hide Clothes". Clicking on this not only strips the character down to their underwear, it also removes everything.

Eldenring's god, Mick Kaa himself, tried to zoom in on the tiefling's face before clicking hide clothes. However, it turned out that as soon as he clicked, the camera zoomed out (NSFW) to show the entire character.

"Wow, sorry, I didn't know this game had that option," Shroud said after showing the entire audience more of his tiefling (NSFW) than anyone had expected. He quickly put his clothes back on, thought for a moment, and then put them back on to find out about the genital options." Wait a minute, I'll go take a look."

While genitalia and nudity can be turned off in the BG3 settings, Twitch's terms of service are quite loose about in-game nudity, unless it is the focus of the stream. The streaming platform's Community Guidelines page states that "Games featuring nudity, pornography, sex, or sexual violence as a main focus or feature are prohibited entirely," but clearly states that it is fine as long as it is "spent only as long as it is necessary for progression" Cyberpunk 2077, another high-profile game featuring full nudity, does not violate Twitch's rules. And as of June, Twitch requires streamers to select the mature label for their broadcasts when playing mature rated games, which warns viewers before the stream is played.

Sex scenes are also part of BG3, but it will probably take some time before these scenes appear on Twitch's clip page. For now, scrolling through the top clips of the past 24 hours gives a comprehensive view of streamers' faces as they click the forbidden button out of curiosity.

Baldur's Gate 3 is finally out (and really good), and expect more surprises. This massive RPG has garnered over 300,000 viewers and sits near the top of the stream category on Twitch. And clips of streamers making the game's first dangerous clicks keep coming in.
