Diablo 4 players encounter Butcher, the "King of Terror".

As a wise man once said: bigger. Any schoolboy can tell you that a thing's value is directly proportional to its size, and so it is with Diablo 4, as Reddit user Ironheart_777 discovered (via Icy Veins) the world's largest butcher, a recklessly huge version of one of Diablo's most notorious and deadly enemies. How else to explain the frenzied interest generated by this absurdly huge version of one of Diablo's most notorious and deadly enemies?

Look! You thought the default butcher was bad, according to Ironheart_777, who was running through a nightmare dungeon with some friends when the world's stompiest boy rushed out of the shadows. If you want to compare scales, you can watch PCG's Andy Chalk go up against the default, relatively puny Butcher here.

Fans have a convincing theory as to "what made this particular butcher so huge": Reddit user swissarmywolf believes it was the modifications to the Nightmare Dungeon, which Ironheart_777 and friends were exploring, which had a nearby It is likely that the Avenger modifier, which increases the damage and size of enemies when monsters are defeated, was applied.

In other words, the Butcher spawned in Ironheart_777's dungeon but did not seem to aggro for some time. Instead, he slowly grew and built up his strength as his merry band of adventurers chopped and diced his allies. When he had gained enough mass, he finally revealed himself.

It could have been worse: a user named lemings68 recalls the same thing happening, except with the game's grotesque spider host enemies. Apparently, that player "had a host of spiders that would take up half the screen before dying. So there you have it. Now you and I can live with that image for the rest of our lives.

If you want to find the big Butcher yourself, you should check out Diablo 4's Butcher's Whereabouts Guide. He's tough enough in his default form. If you want to take him on in full Andre the Giant mode, you'll need backup.
