Electronic Arts and Marvel Games are working with Cliffhanger Games, a new studio headed by former Monolith Productions vice president and studio head Kevin Stephens, on an all-new single-player Black Panther game.

"We are dedicated to providing fans with a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over the story than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game," Stephens said. While no details of the project have been revealed other than that it will be an "original, third-person, single-player" game, EA touted the talent already assembled for the cliffhanger, including former leaders of the excellent "Middle-earth" team: this team includes the former leader of the excellent "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" team and veterans of top franchises such as "Halo Infinite," "God of War" and "Call of Duty." Stevens himself is credited with "NOLF," "FEAR," "Tron 2.0," and "Condemned": this alone is a remarkable game in my book.

One big question is who will be writing the script for this game: he has worked on Insomniac's "Spider-Man" series, Marvel's "The Avengers" and has written comics such as "Rise of the Black Panther" and "Wakanda" I've also seen some people on social media saying that Evan Narcisse might be involved, but no announcement has been made yet.
