Carving out the 100-layer Nightmare Dungeon difficulty in Diablo 4 is hard enough as it is. Achieving it without being gibbed by the various beasts of Sanctuary is next to impossible. But as Gamesradar+ discovered, two necromancer players achieved that milestone last week.

The two world firsts are AlAlon and Riise. In a tweet from the former, AlAlon described the feat as "tough but very rewarding" and thanked the developers for "creating this masterpiece." In his comments, he mentions an important aspect of the build that helped them reach Tier 100 hardcore.

"All of our damage comes from [multiplied damage], which comes from [aspects], but the most important one is "Flesh Eater" The Flesh-Eater aspect, a legendary node on the Flesh-Eater paragon board, is a 5 corpses and grants a buff of up to 40% increased damage after gnawing on a corpse. This is a multiplicative increase applied after the other bonuses, and is a very large increase. [13,000,000 damage]

To properly illustrate how much damage this is, here is an example of a Bone Spear necromancer melting a world boss in about 15 seconds. Other aspects that AlAlon credits are Edgemaster's Aspect, which increases the damage of the bone spear the more essence you accumulate, Aspect of Exposed Flesh, which helps you generate essence when hitting weaker enemies with your bone skills, and Protecting Aspect, which probably saved the hard core many times with its immunity shield.
