My point is that even though there are several bargain gaming laptops under $1,000 on Prime Day this year, you'll likely have to compromise a bit to get them. Like the lack of RAM, like the MSI Cyborg's 8GB memory above, or an outdated RTX 30 series GPU, like the Asus ROG X13 Flow below.
If the RAM or storage doesn't meet your needs, that doesn't mean you can't do a little upgrade. A little DIY can't hurt, and it's even easier if you save money.
And while it's easy to fix a few little things, there's no need to worry about processing power. All of the laptops I'm suggesting here have the latest generation CPUs that will back up the graphics and keep your productivity right up.
Katana is the real star here, with MSI backing it all up with excellent storage size, packing the perfect amount of fast RAM, and adding great core specs. What more could one ask for?
