Prime Day gaming monitors are available starting at $200.

32", 1440p, 165Hz monitor for under $200? Really" Yes, you can. Just. the Acer EI322QUR launched for $449, but Amazon is offering it for just $199.99, less than $200 a penny thanks to Prime Day. This is a great monitor at this price.

Nor is it the only bargain among gaming monitors currently on sale. Right now, ultrawide 34-inch panels are the sweet spot, and the ASRock Phantom PG34WQ15R2B for under $300 at Newegg is fantastic.

We've reviewed this model before, and while it really was a great screen at its $379 launch price, the significant price drop makes it even better. In fact, of all the products offered so far, it's probably our pick in terms of screen.

For something even bigger, we recommend the Gigabyte Aorus FV43U. It's a 43-inch 4K beast that runs at a full 144Hz and can be had for just $769.99. The screen is certainly big.

For something a bit more left-leaning, how about the Samsung Odyssey CRG9? This is a large 49-inch screen with a 5,120 x 1,440 pixel aspect ratio of 32:9. Basically, it is a cheaper version of the powerful Neo G9, only it runs at 120 Hz instead of 240 Hz. [Frankly, 120Hz is good enough, and the CRG9 avoids the Neo G9's problematic full-array local dimming backlight. If you have never tried such a spectacular 32:9 machine, you may be surprised at how immersive it is. There is no other experience like it.

Of course, the ultimate big screen experience right now is undoubtedly OLED. Right now on Amazon, it sells for $1,024.15, which is about the same price as many 34-inch ultra-wide OLED gaming monitors.

TVs can get more panels and more pixels. The C2 also supports 120 Hz and has much lower latency, so there is no significant technical disadvantage compared to dedicated PC monitors.
