One of the standouts is the Gigabyte G5 KF, which costs less than $1,000 and requires an additional 8GB of DDR4 memory, but is otherwise a great budget laptop with RTX 4060. As for high-end machines, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with RTX 4080 is our pick at $2,199.

These and the other gaming laptop deals below are all solid choices; some come with only 512GB of SSD storage, which may limit those who often play a variety of the latest games.

These gaming laptops also come with both 120Hz and 144Hz screens. The refresh rate determines how many times per second the display refreshes, as discussed in our guide to the best gaming monitors. The higher the refresh rate, the smoother the game will appear; for multiplayer games such as esports, a high refresh rate is ideal.

However, for games like Dave the Diver, a high refresh rate is not so useful. For such games, we recommend a gaming laptop like the Asus ROG X13 Flow.
