Store all your favorite games on a 2TB cheap gaming SSD in the $100 range!

Best Buy has reduced the price of its 2TB WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD to Amazon Prime Day's low price of $100. This is a great way to upgrade your PC to higher capacity before high-capacity games like Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and Armored Core 5 use up most of your system's storage. The price listed on Best Buy discounts it by more than $140 off the "regular" price. However, it is worth noting that this 2TB SSD usually sells for around $120-$150 at most retailers. While $100 for such ample storage is great, this discount may not be as big as advertised.

With a read speed of 5,150 MB/s and write speed of 4,900 MB/s, the SN770 is the best low-cost gaming SSD on the market. It may not be the fastest on the market, but it is a very capable all-around drive for gaming. One drawback, as highlighted in the review, is that it tends to get hot.

With good quality SSDs becoming so inexpensive these days, there is no reason not to have enough SSDs on your motherboard to store all your important games; games like Rachet and Clank Rift Apart reportedly require SSDs to play at high settings So if you don't already have one (or three), you need to upgrade ASAP.

If your budget is limited and you don't necessarily need 2TB of storage, consider checking out the 1TB version of the SN770, available on Amazon for $46. However, if you have enough space on your motherboard, two of these drives would be more cost-effective.
