You have the chance to transform yourself into a Warhaven battle god at Steam Next Fest.

Warhaven, a third-person sword-slashing multiplayer game, is coming to Steam Next Fest in June. Hacking, crashing, and grunting

Following in the armored boots of For Honor and Chivalry, Warhaven features two teams of 16 players hacking each other in the name of their respective camps. Focusing on melee combat, players can choose from a number of classes and abilities. [Swordsman, spearfighter, saboteur, healer, hammerman, and the aptly described freight train armed with a mace. And no matter which class you choose, as you fight, you accumulate the power to transform into an immortal god. It's like using Ultimate in a hero shooter game: you become a celestial being with gigapowers for a short time. One of the immortals, Martia, looks like a cross between Soul Calibur's Sophitia and Eldenring's Marenia. Basically, she is an invincible sword princess who punishes anyone foolish enough to try to come within range of her blade.

The two game modes have onslaught, which is a typical attack/defend type situation. One team tries to take territory, the other defends; in Skirmish mode, both teams fight over a central objective, which was the real winner in the beta. Perhaps this is because Skirmish battles are inevitably large scrums in the center of the map, accented by artillery from another nearby objective. There was also always an attempt to secure a respawn point so that the fallen warriors of his army could return to the battle more quickly.

Warhaven will be available for early access in Q3, with a demo at Steam Next Fest running from June 19-26.
