Join the Mars Horizon 2 Alpha Test!

A new trailer for "Mars Horizon 2: The Search for Life" was shown at the PC Gaming Show, revealing that alpha testing of the space agency management simulator is just around the corner.

Expanding on its predecessor, released in 2020, "Mars Horizon 2: The Search for Life" lets you build space bases, design rockets, manage staff, and carry out missions to search for evidence of life on other planets.

You will be responsible for mission control and will be involved in all aspects of the space mission. Not only will you be investigating biological features and anomalies and answering existential questions, but you will also be responsible for those pesky explosions and woodpeckers that ruin your hard-earned launches. As you venture into the great unknown and upgrade your equipment, it is you who will make the critical narrative decisions that will determine the fate of your endeavor.

Mars Horizon 2 is like a more faithful rendition of the Kerbal Space Program (albeit with fewer green aliens with fearful expressions). The art team aims to "strike a balance between style and authenticity and faithfully represent all the amazing vehicles used in space exploration," said Auroch Digital technical artist Joe McPhee in a PC Gaming Show trailer.

Auroch Digital is proud to announce that content producer Britt Francis said, "The design team consulted with many space industry experts to ensure that the gameplay reflects the feeling of being at the forefront of an exciting interplanetary discovery.

We'll see how "Mars Horizon 2" compares to its predecessor and competitors when the alpha test is released later this year.
