Blizzard Releases World Tier-Specific Hotfixes and Bids Farewell to Another "Diablo 4" Power Leveling Trick

Blizzard doesn't seem to be on board with your Diablo 4 power leveling techniques; Blizzard just did a hotfix to keep you from playing the most exciting and XP-heavy dungeons in the game over and over, but that wasn't enough. It seems that it was not enough. And now Blizzard has patched in a trick that will allow low-level players to reap the benefits of World Tiers they have yet to unlock.

Diablo 4's Hotfix 11 (via Wowhead) was released yesterday and consists of a whopping three bulleted fixes. The first of which is "resolves an issue where World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 players could invite players who did not qualify for their higher tier to join their party."

Previously, players had access to World Tiers 3 and 4 in Diablo 4. World tiers 3 and 4 were restricted until they played the game and could be accessed by joining a party started by someone already in one of the world tiers. It may not sound like such a big deal, but higher tier enemies would give out more XP, gold, and rare loot than lower tier enemies. Also, the enemies are much harder, but that doesn't matter if you have a high-level friend with you who can absorb their blows and fight back.

However, there is no gold left, and if you want to access the higher levels, you now have to actually beat the game (and the capstone dungeon that follows). How tactless!

Aside from stomping on my power leveling dreams, Hotfix 11 was also thematically adjusted to "fix an issue where all world tiers were showing as unlocked even though players had not met the requirements." Everything else was vaguely "further stability and improvements," and I still don't understand why a game company would write that down.

Hotfix 11 was released on June 15, the same day as Hotfix 10, but with even fewer notes. It was supposed to "resolve an unintended damage interaction with the druid's "Toxic Claws" passive" and add "further stability and improvements."
