Wordle Hint & Answer of the Day #732: Wednesday, June 21

PC Gamer is here to help you enjoy today's Wordle to the fullest, so whether you need a hint to make your June 21 (732) game go more smoothly, a hint written specifically for today's puzzle, or just a click to find the answer, you'll find everything you need below!

Today's puzzle is a very easy one to solve.

Today I came up with an unusual opener. Since it was so easy to find it, it's no surprise that the next thing I knew I had the answer. Done. Dusty. I'm hyped for tomorrow's puzzle. I must have spent more time staring at the screen in amazement than I spent arriving at the answer to today's Wordle.

Maybe today's answer refers to a migratory bird, like a long-necked heron, or maybe it refers to a tall machine used to lift large or heavy objects into the air and place them elsewhere. Either way, there are two vowels to look for today.

There are no repeated letters in today's puzzle.

Playing Wordle well is like getting a small victory every day:

There is no time pressure. It doesn't hurt to come back later if you struggle to find an answer or find a tactical word for your next guess.

Save your streak: the answer to the June 21 (732) wordle is "CRANE."

Knowing the answers to past wordls helps eliminate the possibility of the present. Since the same word is unlikely to be repeated, you can find clues to guess or find words you don't know.

Here are some recent Wordle solutions:

Wordle gives you six columns of five boxes each day, and your job is to eliminate or identify which five-letter word is hidden and which letter it contains.

You should start with strong words such as LEASH, i.e., words that contain multiple vowels, common consonants, and non-repeating letters; pressing Enter will show you the correct or incorrect letter in the box. If the box goes to ⬛️, it means the letter is not in the secret word. means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. means that the correct letter is in the correct position.

On the second attempt, you will need to compliment the starting word, using another "good" guess to cover the common letters you missed last time, while avoiding the letters you now know for sure are not present in today's answer. After that, you simply use what you have learned to narrow down the correct word. You can try a total of 6 times, and you can only use actual words (so you can't fill in the box with EEEEE to see if there is an E). Remember that letters can be repeated (e.g. BOOKS).

Wordle was originally conceived by software engineer Josh Wardle as a surprise for his partner, who loved word games. From there it spread to his family and was finally released to the public. Since then, the word puzzle game has spawned a slew of Wordle-like games, focusing the daily gimmicks on music, math, and geography, and it wasn't long before Wordle became so popular that it was sold to the New York Times for a seven-figure sum. Indeed, it would only be a matter of time before we would be communicating solely through tricolored boxes.
