The massive credit roll for "Cyberpunk 2077" gets even bigger with the addition of more than 1,600 voice actors.

Cyberpunk 2077's already ridiculously long credit roll is about to get even longer. Senior Localization Project Manager Alexander Radkevich said on Twitter that the game's latest update has added the names of all the voice actors who appeared in the game, in every language.

According to Mobygames, "Cyberpunk 2077" has 3,545 names in 4,067 credits: for example, Mike Pondsmith consulted on design, story, lore, and outside partners (via R. Talsorian Games), He is credited as a creator in the cyberpunk universe. It takes a whopping 40 minutes for these names to scroll across the screen at the end of the game, so if you're the type to actually watch the credits all the way through, grab a hot cup of coffee and settle in.

This list is reasonably long, as it includes voice actors in a variety of languages. That's because the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update, released yesterday, added more than 1,600 more.

"We just released a new patch for #cyberpunk2077 and one of the undocumented changes is the credit list. There are over 1,600 new names." The following is an excerpt from the English cast section "Additional Voices."

"Initially we only credited the main cast, but a few months ago we decided that was not enough and not correct, so we credited everyone. Now we have 6.5K entries in the credits and over 5.5K people mentioned there. Thanks to @homma_force for promoting this topic!"

.

Homma_force is Satoru Homma, CD Projekt Red's country manager for Japan. Mr. Homma thanked Mr. Radkevich for "helping to make it happen." Radkevich, conversely, thanked Homma for making him aware of this oversight in the first place.

While it may seem a bit odd to make such a change nearly three years after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the need for proper credit in video games has been recognized in recent years. In January, for example, Striking Distance Studios came under fire for excluding about 20 people from the credits for "The Callisto Protocol," and Sega came under fire for excluding translators for "Persona 3" and "Persona 4." That same month, Second Dinner updated its superhero card battle "Marvel Snap" to add artist credits to all cards in the game.

And being properly credited is especially important in an industry notorious for its capricious treatment of workers and restrictive NDAs: if your future employment depends on being able to showcase your past work, you need to get your name on that work.

Cyberpunk 2077's credit list has been significantly expanded, probably as part of the 1.63 update that was released yesterday, with fixes and tweaks to quests, open world, user interface, graphics, and various other aspects of the game The patch notes are below. The full patch notes are as follows.
