Diablo 4's Rarest Unique Item, Its Identity and How to Get It Revealed by Developers

Diablo 4 class designer Adam Jackson has released details on some of the rarest and most unique items found in Diablo 4. This puts an abrupt end to a lot of speculation about which items, how many, and where to find them.

The six rarest uniques are the sword "Doombringer," the two-handed sword "The Grandfather," the "Ring of the Starry Sky," the helmet "Andariel's Mask," the helmet "Harlequin Crest," and the amulet "Selig's Melt Heart." My guess is that "Melted Heart of Selig" is the most racy name, but it's a close call.

These six extra rare uniques may drop from level 85+ enemies and can be obtained from anywhere you would normally get uniques. They always drop at item power 820 and are "really rare!" Jackson says. So, it's time to list the places where certain items are often found.

Avid players of "Diablo 4" are desperately trying to find a way to get the rarest loot in the game: how to find the demons, defeat them, and get the items. This mentality is akin to trying to unravel the World Boss from a spreadsheet-like mass of information. Or some seek out a secret bull god.

Jackson then went into a little more detail about how to obtain these six rarest Uniques." Whenever you get a Unique," he said, "there is always a chance that that Unique will be one of these." Therefore, the best way to farm these is to do the content that will get you the most Uniques per X period." However, he did not say which content that is. This may mean that the drop rate is so low that it is not worth actively pursuing for all but the most hardcore players. We don't have all the details, but in the meantime, check out the Diablo 4 Unique Item Guide. Or maybe you need a guide to getting your hands on levels and money.

In any case, if all of this sounds horrible to you, it's quite possible that the way you used to enjoy Diablo games has been replaced, and that sucks. If that's the case, then you're probably more concerned with the mysterious preview of Diablo 4's post-credits scene, which is a bit of a surprise, as it's not the kind of thing you'd expect to see in a Diablo game.
