This starts today at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST and ends at the same time on April 26. I don't know if the game will be smart enough to download only the accessible portions, but it's a good idea to set aside 125 gigs or so just in case (Steam's recommended game capacity (opens in a new tab)).

For whatever reason, Activision is not making the entire MW2 multiplayer game available during Free Access Week. Instead, only the following 12 modes will be available:

Gunfight is a 2v2 mode, Ground War and Invasion are massive modes with dozens of players each, and the remaining modes are all 6v6.

This is not a bad suggestion, but it does mean that if you are on a trial period, you will not have access to modes like Free For All or Search and Destroy.
