Street Fighter 6 has not yet been released, but the first four DLC characters have already been announced.

On April 20, Capcom unveiled the first "Street Fighter 6" showcase, further detailing the fighting game's various modes. The game may still be six weeks away, but the developer has already announced the first four DLC characters that will be added over the next year.

The returning characters Rashid, Ed, and Akuma will be joined by a new character, A.K.I., which will be released sequentially this summer and next spring. Not much else is known about each character right now. However, they will be incorporated into Street Fighter 6's World Tour story mode, so custom characters can learn their moves and learn their respective backstories.

It is unclear how the DLC fighters will be monetized in Street Fighter 6. There will no doubt be a standard season pass and the option to purchase each fighter individually. However, "Street Fighter 5" had an interesting system where you could (very slowly) and diligently accumulate a large amount of in-game currency to purchase seasonal characters. While this would not get you all five seasons' worth of characters, it was an attractive alternative to holding onto your wallet.

Street Fighter 6 is scheduled for release on June 2, with a single-player focused demo available on PC on April 26. Each DLC character and release date can be found below.
