Nvidia has announced a new game publisher for its GeForce Now cloud streaming service: Namco Bandai, more specifically Namco Bandai Europe. Perhaps that's why the first games to appear on the streaming service all seem to be from European developers: Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares II, 11-11 Memories Retold, and Get Even.
Little Nightmares II also supports RTX visuals, but only if you are signed up for the Ultimate and Priority GeForce Now tiers.
This is another nice haul for game streaming services. However, I was excited at the prospect of Elden Ring being transferred from the cloud to my many devices, only to discover shortly thereafter that it was not actually delivered. Too bad, because Elden Ring would have been great for GeForce Now at the game's launch, but even now I am very eager to play it on my Samsung TV.
Speaking of TVs, good news is in the mix today for LG 2023 TV owners as GeForce Now beams 4K directly to the screen without the need for an external device like the Nvidia Shield.
Hopefully, Bandai Namco's softening stance in Europe will encourage Japanese publishers to offer more of their libraries to streaming services, as Nvidia has announced the release of "Little Nightmares," "Little Nightmares II," "Get Even," " 11-11 Memories Retold" are the first of many Namco Bandai titles arriving in the cloud this week."
Anyway, there will definitely be more to come.
For now, however, it looks like Elden Ring support will have to wait, so it's back to Steam Deck (open in new tab) to play that particular game on the go.
