The answer to today's puzzle was obvious. I had all the information I needed fairly early on, but on this particular day, I didn't know what I had until I almost ran out of guesses. It was frustrating, but at least we finally got the answer to today's Wordle.

If someone is experiencing extreme and perhaps prolonged physical or emotional pain, today's word would be a good way to describe that suffering. To solve this, we need to find two different vowels.

If you memorize many past Wordle answers, you are more likely to be able to guess today's Wordle answer without accidentally choosing an answer that has already been used. Also, looking at past Wordle solutions can give you great ideas for fun starting words to keep your daily puzzles fresh.

Here are some recent Wordle solutions:

Wordle shows five boxes in six columns each day, and it is up to you to decide which five-letter word is hidden in each box.

You will want to start with a strong word like ALERT (opens in a new tab)-one that contains multiple vowels, common consonants, and non-repeating letters Press Enter and the box will show correct or incorrect. If the box goes to ⬛️, that means the letter is not in the secret word at all. means the letter is in the word but not in that position. means that the correct letter is in the correct position.

The second time complements the first by using another "good" word to cover the common letter missed the last time, while at the same time trying to avoid the letter that we now know for sure is not present in today's answer.

Then it is just a matter of using what you have learned to narrow down the correct word. In all, you can try six times, and you can only use actual words (so you can't fill the box with EEEEE to see if there is an E). Letters may be repeated (e.g. BOOKS).
