Blizzard President Mike Ibarra reveals "Diablo 4" unlock times two months before launch.

Blizzard president Mike Ybarra tweeted to reveal the worldwide release date for Diablo 4 (opens in new tab), which will be June 6.

According to Battle.net's Diablo 4 product page (opens in new tab), the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate versions of Diablo 4 will offer "up to 4 days early access".

The actual play time may be affected by possible power outages and applicable time differences."

Ibarra had previously tweeted that owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions would be able to play starting June 2, but today he corrected that statement, saying that early access would begin at 4 p.m. PDT on June 1. Of course, Asia has 11 time zones, which is a pretty big place, so Ibarra said in a follow-up tweet that he was referring specifically to Korean Standard Time.

The reference to Europe was also a bit off: Ibarra clarified that he was actually referring to London (i.e., British Summer Time), meaning that the live show would begin at 1:00 am Central European Time.

If you live in an area that is not in one of these time zones, this simple and convenient time zone converter (opens in a new tab) will save you the trouble of doing the math.

If you're not getting your hands on one of the luxury releases, the regular edition of Diablo 4 will unlock a bit earlier than expected, at least in North America. The release date is listed as June 6, but according to Ybarra, it will actually go on sale on June 5 at 4 p.m. PDT, which means June 6 at 12 a.m. in the UK, 1 a.m. in Europe, and 8 a.m. in Korea.

Whichever version you put your money into, Diablo 4 is still months away, but you can pre-create your character right now with this simple but very useful build planning tool (opens in new tab).
