The system requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have been announced. Cal Kestis's next project doesn't ask much of the rig, just a 4-core/8-thread CPU, a modern GPU, and 8 to 16 gigs of RAM. That, and 155 GB of hard disk space. Morgan seemed to warn us that this would be a bigger sequel than we were expecting (opens in new tab).

This is more than Red Dead Redemption 2, more than Microsoft Flight Sim, more than Assassin's Creed: opens in a new tab) according to more than Microsoft Flight Sim, and more than Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (which currently takes up more space than anything else on my SSD).

It also literally exceeds the amount of space I can currently install on my machine. This means I will either have to buy a new SSD or erase some of the huge number of games I haven't played in years, which is tantamount to admitting defeat.

I don't know what it is about "Jedi: Survivor" that demands such huge capacity. It's a good-looking, sprawling game, but it doesn't look dramatically different from "Star Wars: Jedi": the previous "Fallen Order" was only 55 GB. My guess is that the game's crates, previously filled with ponchos, should have an extensive collection of beards for Kal.

If so, it's 100% worth it; we'll know when "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" launches on Steam (opens in new tab) on April 28. Until then, here are the full system requirements:
