The Nintendo DS was a treasure trove of wonderful surprises, but it was never ported to the PC. Ghost Trick: This summer, the classic Nintendo DS game is finally coming to Steam. [You can fire up your old DS right now and meddle with inanimate objects to solve the mystery.

For those unfamiliar with this DS classic, here's the short version: you're dead! Shot by a mysterious assailant, you are a ghost with no memory and only one night to figure out what the hell happened. With your uncanny powers, you can possess things, creatively solve puzzles, and solve your own murder. Thankfully, you also have the ability to rewind time, although it's only for one night and not much else. Oh yeah, there are some very cool dogs. Important.

Death is busy tonight and you will encounter quite a few dead bodies. But being the heroic ghost that you are, you can use your time bending powers to go back to just before their deaths and use your Rube Goldberg magic to start a chain reaction and save their lives. What a wonderful ghost!

This HD remaster also includes new music by Taijo Kitagawa, the composer of Ace Attorney, but you can always switch between the new and original audio. There certainly aren't many additions, but "Ghost Trick" is basically perfect already, and there's no need to ruin such a great formula.
