Pre-loading for the Diablo 4 Early Access Beta has begun. This weekend's beta will begin on Friday, March 17.
As of today, March 15, you should be able to start downloading the beta on the Battlenet app on PC. For those who already got their ticket to hell, it's time to hurry up and wait for the download.
In the launcher sidebar, change the game version to "Diablo IV - beta" so that it can be installed. The installation is somewhat tedious. If you don't install the high-resolution texture pack, it will only take half the 40 GB.
This weekend, the first few hours of the Diablo 4 campaign will start with exploring Fractured Peaks using either the Barbarian, Rogue, or Sorcerer, and fighting the first world boss Ashava.
If you haven't made reservations yet, don't worry. Next weekend's beta is completely open to everyone, and just like today, pre-loading will begin next Wednesday, allowing you to play all five classes of Diablo 4. We've broken out the Diablo 4 beta dates separately to let you know the exact dates and methods for the two different beta weekends this month.
