The toddler update for "The Sims 4" was released yesterday, and I thought the bug would be of the sort where the AI would autonomously start fires or unintentionally "give birth to science babies" with their own parents. Like when everyone's sims turned into assholes for no reason. But that's not the case, and "toddler stretching" is all the rage in The Sims 4.
Exactly what you'd think. Below are just a few of the poor babies plagued by Slender Man's legs.
On the official EA Answers hub, players have posted bug reports of the same problem, with equally distressing images. Some have speculated that the infant may expand and contract when it attempts or is subjected to interactions that it should not perform autonomously or at that life stage.
Aside from anatomical crimes, the new infant update seems to be working. As expected, many Sims 4 players on Twitch have already taken on the popular 100 Babies Challenge, and it is interesting to see them getting their heads around the more demanding infants.
The full patch notes for the infant update can be found on EA's website, with a list of changes and bug fixes. The Sims 4's next expansion, Growing Together, which includes additional baby gear and a significantly expanded social simulation, will be available tomorrow, March 16.
