Following AMD's bundling of Radeon graphics with "The Last of US" (opens in new tab), Nvidia is doing the same with a special "Bite Back Edition" of its upcoming "Redfall" (opens in new tab).

The "Bite Back Edition" of the highly anticipated co-op vampire shooter "Redfall" is normally $99 and comes with the Steam version of the game, which will be unlocked on launch day, May 2, plus lots of other goodies and DLC.

Among them are a Redfall Hero Pass with two future heroes, a Laser Beam Multi-Weapon Skin, a Tactical Knife Stake Weapon Attachment, and a bundle of four costumes.

The promotion is limited to buyers of Nvidia's current RTX desktop GPUs, so the RTX 4070 Ti (open in new tab), 4080, and 4090 are eligible. On the mobile side, only RTX 4080 and 4090 graphics are eligible, which is unfortunate for those purchasing RTX 4050, 4060, or 4070 laptops (open in new tab).

Not surprisingly, Redfall is fully Nvidia stable and DLSS 3 support is complete. Although Nvidia specifically mentions frame generation, it is expected to be mixed with the rest of the DLSS 3 feature set.

Nvidia also states that the game will support ray tracing, which will not be available at launch. Instead, it will be added in a post-launch update, the timing of which has not been disclosed.

For more information on the bundle, see Nvidia's official landing page (opens in new tab); Nvidia says the bundle will be available for a "limited time" but does not reveal a date. It is also unclear if it will include the RTX 4070, which is expected to be available before the game is released. However, given the limited number of laptops being offered, it seems unlikely.
