Tiny Tina, a character in "Borderlands 2," became so popular that eight years later a spin-off called "Tiny Tina's Wonderland" was released. Before that, however, she was the central character in the "Assault on Dragon Keep" DLC for Borderlands 2. This expansion content was offered on its own in 2021 to promote the then upcoming "Wonderlands. It is the best of the expansion content for "Borderlands 2" (itself the best "Borderlands" game), especially because the foul-mouthed, scrappy-loving Tina is a great pleasure to spend time with.

In any case, it's easy to give it a shot now, as "Tiny Tina's Dragon Keep Assault" is available for free on Steam until March 24. Add it to your account and you can play it forever, so even if you don't want to play it right now, consider it an investment in a future game.

Assault on Dragon Keep is a pen and paper role-playing version of the Wonderlands blueprint, or Borderlands world. There are guns that shoot swords, but there are also magic spells that are basically magic grenades. Even if, like me, you felt bored with the series after Borderlands 3, the Tiny Tina game is worth a look: in her review of Wonderlands, Jodi wrote that it was better than Borderlands 3.

Dragon Keep is only a stand-alone DLC campaign, but it still features six vault hunters, each with their own progression route, and supports online co-op play. Online co-op play is also supported.
