According to TMZ (opens in new tab), Lance Reddick, who appeared in numerous films and television series and voiced Commander Zavala of the Titan Vanguard in "Destiny 2," has died at age 60.

Reddick (open in new tab) was a typical "that guy" character actor who played a series of memorable roles in acclaimed films and shows. Some of his notable television appearances include the roles of Cedric Daniels in THE WIRE, Philip Broyles in FRINGE, and Irving Irving in BOSCH. [On the silver screen, his role as Charon in "John Wick" was his most talked-about work. In the first film, the character was a supporting role as a hotel manager, and in the third film, he became an active participant in extreme violence as a skilled assassin. He was scheduled to reprise his role in "John Wick 4," which opens March 24.

But to gamers, he is perhaps best known for his role as Zavala, the brooding titan in Destiny 2. According to reports, Reddick was on a press tour for "John Wick 4," and on Wednesday he posted a video on social media that appeared to show him at home with his dog. The cause of death has not been announced, but TMZ quoted police sources as saying that it appears to be natural causes.
