Oops, all Marenia: Eldenring players with a lot of fans take on the game, replacing all enemies with secret megabosses.

PCG Gamer of the Year (opens in new tab) "Let Me Solo Her" is at it again, and as Kotaku (opens in new tab) reported, LMSH, famous for his naked, two-fisted, marijuana-covered avatar that repeatedly leads other players to the secret famous for repeatedly ushering other players in front of the secret mega-boss Malenia, has begun streaming (opens in new tab) Elden Ring.

I don't know what mod LMSH is using to make this swap, but it is probably a custom parameter in the Item and Enemy Randomizer (opens in new tab) by thefifthmatt. The goddesses of corruption with their forbidden sword techniques lock on to the LMSH and pursue them.

LMSH's goals are to collect his signature pot-helm from Alexander's quest, not to level up Vigor, and to win the game. As of now, he has the Samurai Helmet in his possession before collecting his signature hat, giving off the vibe of a deflated Samus, the beginning of "Metroid" (open in new tab). In his first two-hour stream, LMSH slays the lovable samurai dope Yurah for the sword of Sephiroth, before taking on Malenia the Fell Omen and Malenia the Grafted.

But he began having trouble with Malenia, Queen of the Full Moon. Not only does she have a small and cluttered boss room, but both instances of Malenia in this mod have a strength bar; a two-phase boss like Rennala would actually result in two separate Malenia spawns, making it a four-phase boss.

Thankfully, the mod has the modest mercy of not turning all of Rennala's little baby scholar minions into Malenia. That setting would melt the CPU too much; as LMSH points out, the mod is already "not intended to support that many Malenias, so your game will be a bit laggy."

LMSH suggests continuing the run today, and you can catch it live or in VOD form on his YouTube channel (opens in new tab). While one of Elden Ring Marenia's killers continues to fight, another recently retired (opens in new tab). Player JPNB (opens in new tab) finally received news of the Elden Ring DLC so he could finally end his "fight Marenia with a different build every week until the Elden Ring DLC news" series. I look forward to these gamers eventually fighting Blue Marenia (opens in new tab) in Shadow of the Eldestree.
