Fortnite Creative 2.0 is now available, allowing players to develop maps, game modes, animations, and more. Anything can be created in this shiny sandbox, but players are flocking to the familiar, season 1 OG Fortnite map.
Don't worry if you don't have a time machine on hand; we'll show you how to drop into Tilted Towers just like in 2017.
This shockingly robust technology utilizes the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 and is free for everyone to play. Currently, only PC players can develop their own projects within the Unreal Editor (open in new tab), but these creations can be played on any device or console. Atlas Creative was the first to attempt to recreate Fortnite Chapter 1 developer and can be easily accessed by searching under the Custom Games tab or entering the island code 2179-7822-3395.
ATLAS OG BATTLE ROYALE Nearly everything in the replica is identical to Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 3: stopping at old haunts like the Dusty Depot, picking up classic weapons, and most importantly, everything is so simple! You can think back to a time when everything was so much simpler.
Currently, this custom map is in beta and has some issues: it is noticeably more laggy than the standard mode, there are no named locations on the map (so you only know where to drop if you've played too much Fortnite in 2017), and the number of players is more than you are used to in a solo battle royale There are issues such as the small number of players. The build is also permanently active in this mode, so anyone who has spent the last year forgetting that it is a feature could get lynched. Good luck.
Fortunately, Atlas is asking players to send feedback directly so they can update it quickly, so if you play a lot of this retro Fortnite Creative 2.0 map, please let us know what you think.
