Save up to $150 at Vertagear's Gaming Chair Sale

Gaming chairs are a necessity, but are often an afterthought. And choosing the right one for your style and comfort is no easy task. Not all chairs are created equal, and they are not cheap. It's been a while since we've seen a good deal on gaming chairs, but now you can save up to $150 off a variety of chairs at Vertagear's Spring Sale (opens in new tab).

The sale is currently running on Vertagear's website, and discounts are available on the S-Line, P-Line, and the new 800 Series gaming chairs, and by signing up for Vertagear's mailing list and registering for a student ID (opens in new tab) to receive additional discounts.

The 800 Series can be found in most of Vertagear's current chair lines and represents the brand's most ergonomically focused range of chairs. the 800 Series is the most ergonomically focused of Vertagear's chairs. We have reviewed several Vertagear chairs in the past, but not the 800 Series. While excellent in many respects, comfort and price have been the brand's main concerns, so hopefully this sale and introduction to the 800 Series will help.

For larger humans, I would recommend Vertagear's P-Line chairs. The cheapest, the PL1000, has dropped from $330/€340 to $280/€290 (open in new tab) in this sale. The intermediate grade is the PL4500 (opens in new tab), which we test sat on a few years ago. One of the biggest complaints our reviewers had was the biggest discount of the lot, which at the moment was a much more attractive price.

While not a Swarovski crystal model (opens in new tab), the PL4500 is much more affordable, having dropped from a list price of $549/€490 to $400/€410 (opens in new tab). Long-term comfort was another concern in our review, so it would be worth a read before jumping on this product.

The top-of-the-line chair in the P line is the PL6800, which Vertagear claims is "the most comfortable chair for big guys." It is currently on sale, dropping from $550 to $470.

The cheapest in the S-Line is the budget SL200, which is discounted to $300/€320 (opens in new tab); Vertagear's S-Line series is recommended for smaller people, and the SL5800 is on sale for $420/€460 (opens in new tab) from $500 tab), and there is also a taller chair that can accommodate up to 200 cm; the SL5800 is the fanciest chair in the line, with its ergonomic design and RGB styling.

Just below it is the SL5000, which we reviewed (open in new tab); the SL5000 sells for $460 to $360/€350 (open in new tab), with the biggest discounts available. Given that price was another drawback in our review, this makes the SL5000 a more attractive option. The RGB kit for these chairs is also on sale, $50 cheaper at $250 (opens in new tab), but we don't necessarily recommend upgrading.

This Vertagear sale will run throughout April, so you have plenty of time to check out our list of the best gaming chairs (opens in new tab) to help you with other options before making your choice.
