It was still less than 24 hours ago that we brought you the puzzling yet essential news that Ashley from the Resident Evil 4 remake was being transformed into a tiny and disproportionately adorable rat in search of cheese by a bunch of fan artists ( Open in new tab). Now that such a dream has become a reality, we will again be reporting live from the Moushly desk.
Moushley Graham-Ratatouille Mod (opens in new tab) Finally, we've fixed the Resident Evil 4 remake's neglect of pre-existing canon, turning the president's only daughter into a little rodent who pilots Leon out of her hair.
The first and only mod for any game by a user named cathroon (opens in new tab), the Joseph Heller of the mod world, and a Moushly model created by a Twitter user named TheComicFiend (opens in new tab) uses. It's almost perfect, except for the fact that the mod uses the unorthodox "Moushley" spelling of the character's name, rather than the "Moushly" notation that I expect will be written into canon law in the next conclave.
"Take control of Moushly, a ratatouille-style Leon," the description calls, "devastate a remote Spanish village and rescue your human counterpart." This is fascinating. Is Mushly Graham, in fact, not just a ratified version of a traditional human character, but an entirely different character who can exist simultaneously in the game world?
This is a rich and nuanced argument that is only possible on the PC, where revolutionaries can impose their vision on the game with mods.
To install the Moushley Graham-Ratatouille Mod, you must use the Fluffy Mod Manager (opens in a new tab). Once downloaded, all you need to do is select the Moushly mod from the Mod Manager UI and you will have a legitimate version of RE4. However, don't worry too much, according to cathroon, "I've never added a mod before, so it will probably be jacked up."
