HyperX's new cute gamer gear-themed pet toy is a bit pawtier.

As we all know, there is no better cooperative play partner than man's best friend. So it makes sense that your dog would play the game with the same equipment you do: a chewable stuffed dog inspired by a popular HyperX accessory.

I had to look twice to make sure this wasn't a late April Fool's joke (opens in new tab). However, HyperX actually partnered with P.L.A.Y., a pet toy company, to create a line of plush pet toys based on the HyperX Cloud Alpha headphones, Quadcast S microphone, Pulsefire mouse pad, and Alloy keyboard created.

As the prices show, the dog versions of PC gaming peripherals are relatively inexpensive and thankfully not as expensive as the human versions of these products.

HyperX sent us a sample that we loaned to Sydney, a four-legged friend of this site, to try out and chew on. According to Sydney's guardian, she is "hooked" on the wearable Cloud Arfa headphones. HyperX said in a press release, "As pet lovers ourselves, we know how important it is for gamers (of all species) to stay physically active and mentally stimulated."

All of these plush toys will be available on April 11 on HyperX's website.
