Gameloft is constantly providing great updates to Disney Dreamlight Valley, the best Animal Crossing-like game available on PC. We already know that features like multiplayer are in development (open in new tab), and characters throughout the House of Mouse are being added regularly; the February 16 update will add Encanto's Mirabelle and Frozen's Olaf to the Valley. As usual, the developer has released some nice key art that picks up on the details of the new patch.

It looks like Mirabelle's "Casita" will be the newest house that can be placed in the valley. It is a fairly massive building, so those with dense valleys may want to space it out a bit. It is also surrounded by butterflies that have yet to be seen in Disney's Dreamlight Valley. I assume they are decorations around Mirabelle's house, but it would be nice to see some hints about bug catchers, additional collectible companions, etc.

Olaf's house seems unlikely, unless the mysterious cave door is related to Olaf. It doesn't seem to be, as the cave door has the movie "Atlantis" written on it, and a sharp-eyed fan on the Dreamlight Valley Discord server deciphered it to say "enter". There are already a few things around the valley that are reminiscent of Atlantis and the letters Atlantis, but they are still quite interesting. There are some footprints leading to a cave and a shadowy squirrel near the entrance. This squirrel appears to be one found in the "Forgotten Lands," which is probably a dark and eerie biome.

The next Star Pass (Dreamlight Valley's version of the Battle Pass) will celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary, and it appears that several unlockables have already been announced. Mickey and Minnie are dressed in platinum outfits, as is a white rabbit in a similarly themed suit.

I look forward to seeing what stories the addition of Mirabelle and Olaf will bring, and Casita in particular looks gorgeous. Mirabelle is Encanto's first character, and Olaf is the fourth character from "Anna and the Snow Queen." Beyond this February 16 update, we can expect the addition of Simba in April and a new Star Pass after the platinum anniversary one is over.
