Stay competitive with a $200 240Hz gaming monitor

Who said you need a lot of money for a speedy gaming monitor, Best Buy is offering Lenovo's 24.5-inch 1080p 240Hz gaming monitor for just $200 (opens in new tab).

The Lenovo Legion Y25-25 launched in 2021 for $350, but has dropped to $300 in recent weeks. It hasn't been this cheap since Black Friday, so even if you're not quite ready to plunk down $1,000+ for a 240Hz 1440p OLED screen (opens in new tab), you can still get the most out of your RTX GPU 30 series GPU with this budget screen

This Lenovo IPS is designed with competitive gamers in mind, with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. This means that you can enjoy fairly smooth gameplay in your favorite shooters such as Valorant and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Speed is everything with this monitor, but you get pretty decent image quality with solid color reproduction (covering 99% of the sRGB color space), which cannot be said for most competitive gaming monitors. [$300 for this high refresh rate display is already a bargain, and at $200 it's more than competitive, especially if you're putting together a low-budget PC or pairing it with the best gaming laptop (opens in new tab).

In addition, Best Buy offers three months of free YouTube Premium with the purchase of the Legion Y25-25.

Don't expect the monitor to be loaded with features at this price. As monitors go, this is the bare minimum you need. It has no speakers, HDR support is not great, and the legs seem to take up a lot of desk space for a screen under 25 inches, but it does have a VESA mount. That said, it is probably the best 240Hz gaming monitor you can get for $200.
