While gamers are fighting over whether or not they can play "The Hogwarts Legacy," LGBTQ+ indie designers have joined forces to bundle 69 games (nice).

The $60 Trans Witches Are Witches bundle (opens in new tab) has raised over $70,000 at time of writing.

The paired bundles are organized and curated by Kritiqal (opens in new tab), a game review outlet focused on politics, art, and culture. The main bundle includes video games, tabletop games, music, assets, and a magic-themed zine that would cost over $300 if purchased individually. Proceeds from these bundles are split equally by the creators.

Video games include a Steam key for the competitive 2-player bullet hell game "Crystal Control 2" (opens in a new tab), "You Are a Wizard" (opens in a new tab) (a Commodore 64-style riddle featuring a fox trying to make you care about riddles platformer), "Polymute" (open in new tab) (a shape-shifting puzzle game), "Jill O Lantern" (open in new tab), "First Slice" (open in new tab), "Jill O Lantern" (open in new tab) and other games on itch. Direct access via io included: (opens in new tab) (a cross between Ace Attorney and a slasher movie), Tomorrow for Mar (opens in new tab) (a 2.5D visual novel about trying to pass a final exam in upcycling potions to graduate from a magical university).

On the physical game side, the academic, anime-style RPG "Cantrip" (opens in new tab), the postcard game "Witch You Were Here" (opens in new tab), the "There's a magic school, but it's in America, and I'm a teacher" RPG " Pigsmoke" (open in new tab), "Actually, this pumpkin spice latte is the focus of my spell" RPG "Basic Witches" (open in new tab), "Muscle Wizard Gets the Job Done!" (open in new tab), a one-page crime bear RPG " based on Honey Heist, in which the Muscle Wizard decides whether to solve a problem with muscle or magic.

As the bundle's FAQ points out, it's not just J. K. Rowling's opinion of Transformers that has led many players to decide Hogwarts Legacy is worth avoiding. Senior producer Troy Leavitt was an anti-social justice YouTuber (open in new tab) who resigned after his history of videos criticizing feminism came to light. Then there are the house elves who enjoy being slaves, but honestly, what was that all about?
