Call of Duty: Warzone 2" is coming to Japan.

The popular "Resurrection" mode is back in Season 2 of "Call of Duty: Warzone 2," and a teaser for the new map where it will take place has been released for the first time. Here is the first teaser video of the new map.

"Enjoy a moment of Zen before battle," the Call of Duty account tweeted Monday morning (opens in new tab). 'Tac map release tomorrow. #The attached video is a rendering of marbles rippling through sand, which according to translation software will eventually become the Japanese word "sea lion" (discovered by YouTuber Geeky Pastimes (open in new tab)).

If this is not enough of a clue to the map's setup, the CoD account replied, "Ashika Island awaits ?" and added.

In other words, there is a reference to a Japanese island and sea lions. If "sea lion" refers to the real-life Japanese Steller's sea lion (opens in new tab). According to Wikipedia, the sea lion subspecies was endangered in the 1970s, which is probably when this map appears; given that Warzone 1's original Resurgence map, Rebirth Island, was set in the 1980s, another 20th century another island in the 20th century would be a fitting tribute.

Activision plans to release more details about Season 2 following the release of the Sea Lion Island "tac map" on January 31, prior to its release on February 15. The tac map is unlikely to include actual screenshots of the map, but it should give us an idea of the island's shape and some landmarks.
