Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" has been postponed, but not by much

The release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been pushed back to April, studio Respawn confirmed today. Originally scheduled for release on March 17, the well-received 2019 sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will now be released on April 28.

Rather than a major delay, the new release date will be just six weeks after the original release date. In his announcement, game director Stig Asmussen stated that the delay was due to the need for further improvements. We are a better team for making this game, and we have pushed ourselves on every level to create the "Star Wars" sequel that fans have come to expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games.

"To help the team reach Respawn's quality bar, give the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish the fans deserve, we added a critical six weeks to our release schedule.

This shift moves "Survivor" from one relatively quiet month to another: it will no longer directly compete with "Resident Evil 4 Remake," but April will also see the release of "Minecraft Legends" and "Dead Island 2." April will also see the release of " Minecraft Legends" and "Dead Island 2" will also be released.

This new Star Wars title is worth looking forward to: "Fallen Order" was a nicely familiar take on the "Soulsborne" formula, with the added bonus of Star Wars, and Respawn has done a good job of making the sequel worthy of its "fully realized combat stance .", mounted combat, and pterodactyl hang gliding, among many other new additions.
