Drake and Lil Yattie demonstrate Steam Deck handoff between moving SUVs.

Once upon a time, a rich man in a Rolls-Royce pulled up to another rich man in a Rolls-Royce and asked, "Excuse me, do you have a Grey Poupon?" I asked. It was an ironic expression of wealth that quickly developed into something of a pop culture touchstone and has been referenced and parodied many times since. Wikipedia even has a spot dedicated to it.

These days things are a bit different. Wealthy white guys with Dijon mustards and Phantoms are out, and wealthy hip-hop artists with steam decks and big SUVs, especially Drake and Lil Yachty, are in.

"Want one? Drake asks as the two cars slowly merge, with his "handheld gaming console" out the window. When Lil Yachty replies that he wants it, Drake says, "Well, buy it," and smoothly hands it over as if they were parked side by side on a quiet summer day. Lil' Yachty thanks him with a flip as he rolls down the window.

A few Twitter replies neatly point out that while several people have referred to the handheld as a Switch, it is actually a Steam Deck, Valve's blockbuster portable PC. At the very least, the logo is clearly visible in this video, indicating that it is a Steam Deck case.

As to what is actually in the case, it is impossible to say with certainty. Drake may have laughed that way because he took the case over and kept the Steam Deck for himself.

The exchange sparked a short conversation on Reddit (open in new tab), where members of the Steam Deck community speculated about what games Drake would play:

Why Drake was holding Lil Yattie's Steam Deck As to why he was driving, that remains a mystery for now. The fact that Yattie gave him the middle finger after he handed it to him, we have to assume that a prank was involved.
