The 28-year-old shareware shooter Terminal Velocity is back.

In 1995, Terminal Reality released a flight sim with simple controls similar to an FPS. You zapped enemy facilities and ships, flew through tunnels leading to the core of each planet, and tried not to get completely disoriented when you were upside down. PC Gamer's Scott Wolf gave the original version an 86 in his review, writing, "Terminal Velocity is like X-Wing meets Descent, with Magic Carpet and Shock Wave thrown in. It's a roller coaster ride with 360-degree freedom of movement, stunning graphics, digital sound, and the carnage mentality of a Doom clone. It's a package that blends elements of flight sim and action, and should satisfy those who don't like either (or both)."
