This week, two new kits (the smallest and cheapest tier of DLC currently offered) will be added to The Sims 4. They are underwear printed with lace and beads, and a collection of items to make your Sims' vanities as cluttered as your own. Both will be available for purchase this Thursday, the 19th (probably $4.99 like the other kits).

The "Simtimates Collection" is actually a partnership with clothing brand MeUndies (opens in new tab) and includes styles that "flatter every body with fun prints that showcase individuality and personality," Electronic Arts stated. The set includes a variety of pattern swatches, from briefs to bras to matching sets, some of which, of course, correspond to the patterns available for the actual body on the MeUndies site.

The second pack is more obviously named "Bathroom Clutter," as "from cute wall stickers for kids to grandma's dentures, this kit has something for everyone." The promo image includes lotion, a comb, used toothpaste, an electric toothbrush, and a hair dryer. I tend to always pack the same things, such as hand towels, toothbrushes, soap dispensers, etc., so a little more variety would be nice.

For me, it was a little cooler when Maxis partnered with Sims custom content creators to design acrylic nails for the Spa Day pack update than the underwear brand. And while messy is good, there are many very good Sims 4 CCs made completely free by other community members, including messy ones. But the Sims series is built on a back of DLC, so the new kit is for those of us who are eager to clutter up our builds.

If you're expecting more big news, it will come later this month, as EA previously teased several different upcoming announcements, including "one major update, two unique kits, and one expansion pack" along with a community live stream on Tuesday, January 31 . Presumably just before or during the livestream, there will be an announcement about the other two items on this list.
