The entire PC is set up around this unimaginably awful NFT animation.

If you're not in the web3's circle of dirty tech-branded cartoons, you should probably close this tab now and protect yourself; XPG dug the NFT hole a little deeper at CES 2023 by showing off a full PC setup based on its own awful cartoon protagonist.

Not long ago, Adata's subsidiary brand unveiled Xtreme Saga. It's a story about a strong female protagonist kicking butt and preaching about hope, justice, leadership, and empathy. As grand as it may sound, sadly, the concept never got the recognition it rightfully deserved.

Not only because the company doesn't seem to recognize that anime stands for "animation," but also because it doesn't seem to have translated from janky slideshows like "Extreme Saga" (see video below). What's worse is that the show is masquerading as XPG's Web 3 goofiness.

Its purpose, of course, is to sell NFT (open in new tab).

And even though the Ether value (opens in new tab) of the XPG Extreme Saga Fan Club is only $8,760 and only holds 581 members, the company is including peripherals, mouse pads, and even a PC case designed with its main character, Mera The decision was made to offer a full PC setup.

Here is what XPG showed off at CES 2023:

Features cited include a "flashy design," "optimal size," and "red mechanical" key switches. The design is also painted in the same distinctive orange-ish red as Mela's hair. Firey [I am so sorry to all the artists involved in this travesty. I almost had to give back my wee badge (opens in new tab) because I had to watch the first episode of the Extreme Saga.

Honestly, it could have been a cartoon.

But enough of the terrible cartoon preamble. The real drawback is that the gear is not at all newly designed. Except for the mousepad, which is kind of ...... It's the old one with the red color. I have no idea how to sign it. Too busy washing my eyes with soap.
